Miti Asilia Adventures is a Tanzanian company aiming to make sustainable tourism more accessible to domestic and international visitors alike. Miti Asilia means “indigenous trees” in Kiswahili, and that’s just what you’ll experience at our park, where you’ll walk and zipline among Mpodo (Afrocarpus Usambarensis), Mshai (Albesia Gummifera), Mshihwi (Syzygium Guineense), and many other tree species native to the area.

Located in Tanga’s Usambara Mountains, Miti Asilia Adventures is the first dedicated aerial challenge course in Tanzania. The park gives visitors an exciting way to experience the beautiful Mkusu Forest Reserve, with its lush rainforest, river, and waterfalls.

Activities We Offer

We have an ever-growing list of outdoor adventure activities for you to enjoy, be it by yourself, with your family, or with all of your friends. Construction is ongoing, with six thrilling ziplines already completed and a series of challenging obstacles underway.

Ziplines

Get your adrenaline pumping as you sail through the air from tree to tree attached to a high-grade steel cable. We currently have seven fully-operational ziplines, interspersed with challenging obstacles for a unique forest thrill.

Challenge Course Obstacles

The first park on its kind in Tanzania, Miti Asilia Adventures features a wide variety of challenging obstacles which participants must navigate in order to move from tree to tree, all while securely attached to our world-class safety system. We currently have ten total obstacles in operation.
